Installing Suite Storage On Apple Intel Macs

A step-by-step guide for installing Suite on Apple Intel Macs.

⚠️ If you are unsure if you are on an Intel or M1/M2/M3/M4 Mac, click the Apple icon on the top left of your home screen, select “About this Mac” and reference the "Chip" information.

💡 Your computer may prompt you for your password between steps, please enter it whenever you are prompted.

Step 1: If you haven't already, download and install Suite from the downloads page.

Step 2: Once installed, you should see the below screen once Suite Storage is launched:

You'll be prompted to open System Preferences.

If not prompted, open System Preferences and go to "Security & Privacy" > "General"

Step 3:

⚠️ IMPORTANT - PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO EACH STEP ⚠️

Complete the installation process by allowing the MacFuse extension in the “Security & Privacy” section of System Preferences (it will be listed under the developer name Benjamin Fleischer).

​3.1 Click "Allow"

Depending on your OS version it may look like either of the images below.

3.2 Click "Not Now"

You may experience a delay after clicking "Not Now" - this is normal.

After Clicking "Not Now", the below image should appear - Click "Restart"

⚠️ Not getting the above image? ⚠️
Repeat the previous steps starting at 3.1 (this may take several attempts).

Step 4: Once your Mac has restarted, open Suite, log in and you should now see your Suite drive successfully connect:
