How do I upload a file to Suite Storage?

Learn how to upload files to Suite, confirm an upload was successful, and diagnose errors that may occur during an upload.

Updated over a month ago

Uploading files and folders to Suite feels just like copying something to a local drive.

But during an upload, use Suite's Status as your central source of truth.

Uploading Files to Suite

Select your file(s), then drag and drop those right into your Suite drive.

Confirming a Successful Upload

  1. Go to Suite's Status.

  2. Look for this indicator: UPLOADING... Notice the disk icon's light is now yellow.

  3. When UPLOADING... disappears from Status, and you only see CONNECTED with a green light and no errors, your files were successfully uploaded to Suite.

While "UPLOADING"

βœ… You can start working from your file(s) while Suite uploads them in the background.

❌ Do not turn off your computer or disconnect from the Internet while UPLOADING. Your upload isn't finished until Suite's Status no longer reports it's UPLOADING.

If You See an "ERROR"

If Suite's Status displays an ERROR, your file(s) didn't upload successfully.

Click See Errors to see which file(s) failed to upload and why.

In the Errors list, click Learn more to see how to diagnose and resolve the error.

After Successfully "UPLOADING" to Suite

Open, modify, and save your files directly to Suite. You and your team can now work together from these files as if you were using local storage.
