Single Sign-On (SSO) on Suite

Guide to setting up and using Single Sign-On (SSO) with Suite, including configuration and login steps.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Overview

With Suite's SAML 2.0 integration, you can tie the authentication of your team members to an external Identity provider such as Okta, Google, Azure AD, etc. This guide explains how to set up and utilize SSO on Suite.

Configuration

Suite integrates with any identity provider that supports SAML 2.0 authentication.

We have an Okta, Google, and Microsoft Entra ID Guide (AKA Azure AD) available for reference (see below) however, if you use a different identity provider please reach out for assistance through your Suite point of contact or by emailing [email protected]

Please reference our guides below to set up your SSO via your IDP:

Just In Time User Provisioning, Explained

Team members assigned to the Suite application within your identity provider will be provisioned once they log into Suite for the first time so you won’t see this team member under team settings>users until they log in to Suite for the first time.

Once logged in, team admins will be able to add permissions for the new team members through the Suite Team Settings Page.

Logging in with Single Sign-On (SSO)

To log into Suite using SSO click "Sign in with SSO"

You'll then need to type in the team ID provided to you by a Suite Administrator during configuration.

Once you click "Next" you will be redirected to a browser to authenticate with your teams' identity provider.

ℹ If your user sees an error that indicates access issues, it likely means that access to Suite has not been granted through the IdP, and they need to be added by your team admins.
