Point the Suite cache location to an external solid-state drive (SSD) - NOT a hard disk (HDD).
Ensure the SSD is not formatted as exFAT. For best performance, we recommend formatting your drive as NTFS (Windows), APFS (Mac), or Ext3/4 and above (Linux). For more information on drive formatting click here.
Allocate as much storage as you can spare. With a larger cache, frequently accessed data can be retrieved quickly, drastically improving application performance and reducing latency.

3. Set up your network for success
For the best performance while using Suite, we recommend connecting your computer to the internet via Ethernet (a wired connection), especially for large files or heavy workflows.
That said, Wi-Fi works well too! If you’re on Wi-Fi or can’t connect via Ethernet, we suggest pre-caching any files or folders you’re actively working on to help ensure a smooth, lag-free experience.
We do not recommend using a VPN with Suite
Why isn’t VPN recommended

If you need to use a VPN while using Suite, test your current VPN client and configuration while streaming from or uploading to Suite.
